MoneySavingExpert.com is an ad-free, free to use resource, which has over 3 million users in the UK. While we do our best to help when we can, in general we can’t respond to individual queries about MoneySaving. Yet if you’ve a technical or media enquiry we’ll do our best.

Technical Queries

  • Technical problem: If you have a technical problem with the main site or Forum please e-mail the webmaster@moneysavingexpert.com. If you have a problem with the Money Tips e-mail, first please read the E-mail FAQ and if it's still not resolved e-mail the webmaster.

  • Spotted a broken link? If you've spotted a broken link or error please email brokenlink@moneysavingexpert.com explaining where on the site it is; if you can include a link to the specific spot on the site, even better.

  • Abusive/problem Chat Forum post: If you've spotted an abusive post or a post you consider to be in breach of the rules/law on the Chat Forum and need to report it, then please e-mail abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

MoneySaving Questions, Suggestions or Ideas

All the information you need is provided on the website, both in the main articles and the Chat Forum. Martin is a journalist and cannot answer personal questions or help with your finances – while he used to try, there are simply thousands of people trying to ask daily and it is impossible. He does not do personal consultancy. If you have a question, the following should help you:

  • Start by using the search function

There’s a very advanced MoneySavingExpert.com search function on the site, which is operated for us by Google to make it even easier to use. So if you’re looking for something, put it in there and hopefully it’ll appear. Also try the separate search for the MoneySavingExpert.com Forum, a resource; so huge, over 20 paperback books worth of information are written there every day.

  • Or ask other MoneySavers

If you want to ask a question, please post it in the MoneySavingExpert.com Forum. There are thousands of MoneySavers regularly posting who should be able to help, many of whom have their own expertise.

Media Enquiries

The following contacts are strictly for members of the media. Please do not use them as general contacts. These contacts are not to be used to send press releases or information about products.

  • Join the press list

From time to time MoneySavingExpert.com sends out press releases on MoneySaving topics to journalists. If you would like to be included in the distribution list, please go to http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/presslist.

  • TV/Radio/Magazine/Newspaper Interviews ONLY:

Looking for an appearance or interview with Martin? Then please contact Knight Ayton Management http://www.knightayton.co.uk/ 114 St. Martin's Lane, WC2N 4BE. Telephone: 020 7836 5333.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ: Knight Ayton does not represent or look after this website in any way. It should not be used by companies looking to send press releases or as a 'route to get to Martin'. It is strictly only for those looking for Martin to do an on-air appearance and that is all it can and will handle. Please do not abuse these contact details.

  • Newspaper/Magazine Quotes or Press Releases ONLY:

If you're looking for brief quotes or to talk about the website then email press@moneysavingexpert.com; alternatively contact the site’s publicity agency EP-site.com on 020 7539 5525.

  • Looking for case studies? You need permission to post on the Forum

If you are a TV or Radio company, magazine or newspaper looking for a case study from the MoneySaving community using the site's Forum, you must first have permission. Permission is only generally given where the post either tangibly benefits users or the site, or helps the site gain a wider reach.

To request it please email press@moneysavingexpert.com. Any posts asking for case studies without permission will be removed and no further requests from that company then considered.

Contacting Martin directly

Sadly we simply can’t offer a service for directly contacting Martin; the site receives many thousands of requests a day and this means most just aren’t answered. If you have a MoneySaving question; please use the information above.

We do provide a direct e-mail address as a back up for complaints, though it is filtered by members of the team, is not read by Martin directly and takes many days to filter through; it is Martin@moneysavingexpert.com. Though again, if you send MoneySaving questions, we simply can’t respond.

To write to MoneySavingExpert.com

The first thing to say is, please do not send MoneySaving questions or suggestions to the office. They simply cannot be replied to.

However, if you do need to write to the website for any reason the postal address is G1, Shepherds Studios, Rockley Road, London W14 ODA, although e-mail is always preferred . If you do write, many people send copies of bank statements or case histories of documents; again let us stress we cannot deal with individual enquiries so these will either be sent back to you or destroyed (for the sake of security).
