Free £9ish pies & beers for O2 mobile customers
Freebie

What: Free £9ish pies & beers Get by: Before 20,000 go, or Sun 2 Oct

How: Firstly, you need to be an O2 mobile customer (monthly contract or PAYG) and you can only apply if you haven't had a pie pack before. Then, if England get through to the quarter finals on Sat 1 Oct (which looks highly likely), you can sign up online from 10am for one of 20,000 free 'breakfast' packs, delivered to your door in time for England's quarter final match on Sat 8 Oct. It's first come, first served, and you'll be told immediately if you're one of the first 20,000 with an order confirmation. The 'pie window' shuts when all 20,000 are gone, or Sun 2 Oct, whichever's earliest.

What do I get? The pack includes: Two breakfast pies (one meat, one veg), currently £3.50 each in Tesco Two cans of Greene King IPA beer (please be drinkaware), worth about £2 A St. George's flag Breakfast packs will be delivered to your door on Thursday or Fri before the match - you'll get a text from O2 letting you know when and you can re-arrange within reason. More breakfast packs will be available if England get further in the tournament. We'll update you here if that happens.

The detail: Once you've won a pie pack, you can't get another in future giveaways. 1,000 people will be randomly picked to win a 'party pack', which includes eight breakfast pies and eight Greene King IPA beers. Sadly, there are several postcodes that aren't included in the offer, as O2 can't deliver to them. See the full terms & conditions and scroll to the bottom for all those that are excluded.

MSE Lee says: For non-rugby fans wondering what this is about - the World Cup is being held in New Zealand, meaning most matches will be shown at breakfast time here due to the time difference.

Section 75Free protection for all shopping!

There's a secret phrase that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. "Section 75" laws means your plastic must protect anything you buy over £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust you can still get your money back.

Although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards there is something else to fall back on if you paid on a Visa debit or electron card, or Visa credit card under £100 (otherwise go for Section 75). Known as Visa Chargeback, this is part of Visa's internal rules and not a legal requirement. Full details of Section 75, chargeback and how to claim in the Section 75 Refunds guide.

If you know of a great deal we've missed, or you have feedback on those above, then please post it in the discussion and we'll add it to the list.
