Boston Duvet & Pillow Company logoBedding code, eg, £9 dbl duvet, 2 pillows £6*Blagged extra 25% off department store supplier's outlet

Expired

When we've featured this before, it's been a big hit with MoneySavers - who are never caught napping when there's a stonking deal to be had. And now it's back again...

The Boston Duvet & Pillow Company* is a trading name for a factory that makes bedding for high street retailers and department stores, which then sell the goods in their own branded packaging.

Its online outlet shifts surplus stock up to 75% cheaper than it's sold in shops, and we've blagged 25% extra off these already-reduced prices (a potential 81% discount in all). To get it, enter the code MSE25 at the checkout by 11.59pm on Mon 11 Sep. Delivery's £3.99 for 1-3 items (see 'more info' below). Unfortunately, it can't deliver to Northern Ireland or parts of Scotland.

The cheapest products are likely to be what you'd normally find in supermarkets and high street shops, while pricier options could be from a posh department store. Yet all will arrive in plain packaging and may have had tags removed or defaced. Stock's limited, so go quick if you're after something in particular.

What can I get?

Here are some strong deals we found using the code on Tue 5 Sep (remember to add delivery):

It's difficult to compare prices exactly, as there are so many different materials and variations of pillows and duvets out there. We've done our best to compare like-for-like examples above, and we weren't able to find comparable bedding cheaper elsewhere online.

Are these products any good?

The Boston Duvet & Pillow Company says you should receive a "perfect product" which, apart from being cheaper, is no different from the branded version sold in shops - though what you'll get will be de-branded.

When we've featured deals from this company before, feedback's generally been positive:

"I bought a duvet and two pillows on the Saturday, and they were delivered on the Tuesday. They are GREAT quality, well packaged. Very happy." - Katarina_MM

"My mattress cover was Fogarty and my duvet was M&S (marker pen used to erase names on both labels, but could read them). Taken out of packaging and given a good shake - all looks to be very promising." - Techno

"I was impressed with the service and quality of the product. This is a site I will go back to whenever there's a code. Happy customer." - AngeP

However, there's also been the odd negative comment as well:

"I bought these apparently luxury pillows. They were cheap, yes, but they are really rubbish. Would unfortunately not recommend these." - jokent84

Boston says it does not sell faulty or damaged goods and it doesn't use the outlet to shift factory 'seconds'. It's worth noting though, while it's a British company that does manufacture most of its product range in the UK, it also sells feather-filled products made in China (see 'more info' below), so take that into consideration if you only want British products.
