Tesco Clubcard is a loyalty scheme where customers earn points for shopping in-store and online. Each point is only worth a penny if used in-store, but they can be tripled or quadrupled if converted into rewards vouchers. Rewards can be spent on restaurants, magazine subscriptions, days out and even paying your Eon bills. For more information about getting the most from your Clubcard points, see our full Loyalty Points Boosting guide.

Below are today's top Tesco Clubcard offers, fully checked and verified by our team of voucher hunters. Get 'em while they're hot!

Retailers change policies regularly, so please report any issue - and remember items can be cheaper elsewhere even after the discount (compare prices). See our tips for safer shopping.

Expired Deals

FREE 100 Tesco C'card points (worth up to £4)Just tell it when you renew insurance

Ended
Enter your car, home and/or pet renewal dates online at Tesco to get 100 Tesco Clubcard points. The scheduled end date is Tue 2 Apr 2013, but Tesco says this offer could be pulled at any time so go quick if you want to bag the 100 points, which will appear in your next statement.

While Clubcard points are worth 1p in-store, you can triple or even quadruple their value by converting to Tesco Rewards (so £1 in-store, £4 in rewards) including train tickets, magazine subscriptions and jewellery. See our Top 10 Tesco Rewards for full info.

Of course, by giving Tesco your info, you're allowing it to contact you about its insurance offers. It is most likely to try to flog you its plans – never simply take the quote it gives, instead use our full Car Insurance, Home Insurance or Pet Insurance guides to find the cheapest.

You can also stop it contacting you anytime by going online or writing in.
More info
You can give up to three renewal dates but will get a maximum of 100 points.

This offer's been really hot in our forums, see the 100 Tesco Clubcard points forum discussion thread.

As well as the deals above, there are tons of permanent ways to cut the cost of family fun.

Take a stroll

There’s an innovative free exercise system which involves advancing the feet alternately in bipedal locomotion: walking. Great British country walks are among the best bargain days out, as well as being a great excuse for refuelling with a pub lunch or an afternoon tea. There’re loads of free walking ideas and trail maps on the sites nationaltrail.co.uk, ramblers.org.uk and walkingbritain.com.

Free high-tech treasure hunts

If you’ve a GPS navigation device, geocaching.com is a fun free way to put a smile on kids’ faces. It’s a giant high-tech treasure hunt, where you hunt for ‘geocaches’, tupperware boxes filled with tiny treasures, hidden by other geocach fans (we’re talking plastic kids’ toys, not iPods).

Just go to the website, type in your postcode and a map pops up with all the geocaches near you. Then enter the coordinates of the geocache you want to find on your GPS, and off you go. The treasures are hidden at spots like waterfalls and parks.

If a link has a * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment to the site.

You shouldn’t notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link. For the sake of transparency, so you can check there’s no difference, here are duplicate versions of the * links that don’t help MoneySavingExpert.com: none currently.
