LensOn logoLensOn 40% off + free del code*Eg, 90 daily lenses for £27 all-in (norm £48)

9 days left

Contact lenses can be expensive, but right now we've a code that brings most contact lenses down to the cheapest on the market.

Just go online to contact lenses supplier LensOn* and enter the MSE Blagged code LENSON40 to get 40% off full-price contact lenses and solutions plus free delivery (norm £3.49) until 11.59pm on Tue 10 May.

The code can't be used with any other offer, such as the multi-buy discounts already on the LensOn site.

Here's what to do:

1. Choose your product (if you normally order own brands from a high street retailer, LensOn provides a full list* of the same/equivalent items).
2. Enter your lens prescription (which you should be able to get from your usual supplier) and add any extras such as saline solution to your basket.
3. Enter the code LENSON40 at the checkout. This will cancel out any other discounts, such as a multi-buy or sale offers as it is not stackable, but will give you the strongest discount.
4. Enter your payment and delivery details. Remember, delivery's free with this code.

How good is this deal?

To see how good this deal is, we've compared prices using our code at LensOn with five other cheap online contact lenses retailers, as well as at major high street stores. Most high street retailers only allow you to order a minimum three-month supply online, but you can buy individual boxes in stores, which is reflected in the price comparisons below.

Here's how it compared to the cheapest of those we looked at when we tested the code on Tue 26 Apr:

The above prices are for individual boxes. If your prescription is different for each eye, two boxes will automatically be added to your basket, one for each eye.

Free eye tests

Remember, if you're under 16 (or up to 19 and in full-time education) or over 60, you're entitled to free eye tests on the NHS. And if you live in Scotland, EVERYONE gets free eye tests.

If not, you can get a free eye test at Tesco, either book a test by phone (0345 601 3479) or visit one of the Tesco Opticians nationwide.

Section 75

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.

And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.

If a link has a * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site.

You shouldn't notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link.
