eBookers.com logoEbookers 15% off hotel bookings*Use MSE Blagged code for worldwide stays until 31 Oct

Expired

Enter the MSE Blagged code MSE15EBK at the checkout stage to get a 15% discount at Ebookers.com* on UK and worldwide hotel stays until 31 Oct 2016. You have until 11.59pm on Sun 22 May to book and must pay upfront in full.

Ebookers lists 110,000+ hotels worldwide, though many chains are excluded from this promotion, such as Travelodge, Hilton and Holiday Inn - see a list of excluded hotels.

You won’t get the discount on the tax element of the price - we found these costs in some countries are about 10%-20% of the total price. There’s no minimum spend or length of stay requirement, but you can only get the discount on one room in one hotel per transaction.

The code only works on hotel-only bookings (so you can't get a hotel that's part of a holiday, city break, or flight-plus-hotel package). If you want to book something other than a hotel, you'll have to do it in a separate transaction.

Compare prices before booking

Don't just assume your hotel will be cheaper by using the code. Do a quick comparison first – see our full Cheap Hotels guide for the best comparison sites to use as well as lots of price-cutting techniques.

The code should also beat cashback deals. When we checked cashback site Quidco on Tue 17 May, few hotel cashback offers went above 10%, while the max was 14%.

While there's no fee for customers using debit cards, Ebookers charges a booking fee for credit card payments, which it says is dependent on the price of the individual property and is always clearly shown prior to payment.

More info

One code per transaction. The codes can't be used in conjunction with cashback sites or with any other discount codes or coupons.

Expedia logoCodes get 10%-14% off UK & worldwide hotels*On hotel bookings with Expedia, Hotels.com and Ebookers

Expired

If you're looking to book a holiday, we’ve three codes for hotel booking sites to get you between 10%-14% off UK and worldwide stays. Plus, we've got a step-by-step guide to make the most of the codes and get the cheapest price.

  • Ebookers.com 14% off

Enter the promotional code SUMMER14 to get a 14% discount at Ebookers.com* for hotel stays until 31 May 2016. You have until 11.59pm on Sun 14 Jun to book.

Ebookers lists 110,000+ hotels worldwide, though many chains are excluded from this promotion, such as Travelodge, Hilton and Holiday Inn - see a list of excluded hotels.

The discount excludes taxes. When we looked we found these costs in some countries are about 10%-20% of the total price. There’s no minimum spend, but you can only get the discount on one room in one hotel per transaction.

  • Hotels.com 10% off

Go to VoucherCodes* to get a 10% off code online at Hotels.com* for hotel stays between 1 Jun and 31 Aug 2015. You have until 11.59pm on Sun 14 Jun to book

Hotels.com lists 200,000+ hotels worldwide, though many chains are excluded from this promotion, such as Travelodge, Hilton and Holiday Inn - see a list of excluded hotels.

The discount excludes taxes, fees and additional costs (about 10%-20% of the total price in some countries). There’s no minimum spend, but you can only get the discount on one room in one hotel per transaction.

  • Expedia 10% off

Go to VoucherCodes* to get a 10% off code online at Expedia* for stays until 31 Dec 2015. You have until 11.59pm on Mon 8 Jun to book.

Expedia lists 510,000+ hotels worldwide, though many chains are excluded from this promotion, for example Ibis, Hilton and Marriott - see a list of excluded hotels.

There’s a minimum spend of £10 before any taxes, fees and additional costs (about 10%-20% of the total price in some countries) are added.

How to use the codes most effectively

Step 1. Check the price

If you know which hotel you want to stay at, go to Ebookers.com*, Hotels.com*, or Expedia* and check the price. Also ensure your hotel's not on the list of excluded chains. If you don't have a hotel in mind, it's worth browsing TripAdvisor*.

Step 2. Do a quick comparison

Once you've found the price for your hotel, do a quick comparison on Trivago*. Provided the room isn't more than 14% cheaper elsewhere compared to Ebooker.com or more than 10% cheaper elsewhere compared to Hotels.com and Expedia, you can save with a code.

Read our full Cheap Hotels guide for lots of price-cutting techniques.

Step 3: If it's cheapest, enter the code

To get the discount, enter the code at the checkout. The codes are only valid on hotels where you pay upfront in full.

The codes will only work on hotel bookings (so you can't get a hotel that's part of a holiday, city break, or flight+hotel package) and only when there’s just hotel bookings in your basket (so you can't add flights, car hire etc).

Important: Usually with these types of websites, once booked, your stay may be non-refundable so make sure you check. You may have to pay a city tax on arrival in some countries.
