Expired Deals

Gillette logo'Free' up to £25 spa treatment with £5ish razor*Buy half price razor at Superdrug to get massage, facial, mani etc

Expired

Buy a Gillette Venus & Olay razor at Superdrug only and you can get a pamper treatment (usually 20-30 mins) such as a massage, facial, manicure etc at 500+ salons nationwide.

This offer's been on for a while and it's valid when you buy a Venus ProSkin Sensitive or Venus & Olay razor and blades by Sat 31 May (unfortunately there's no promo sticker on packs).

We're only telling you about it now because the new Venus & Olay Sugarberry razors are currently half price at £5.48 till Tue 11 Mar.  As some treatments are worth up to £25, you can get a treatment at a fifth of the usual price (and you get a razor chucked in too!).

Here's how to get the deal:

  • Buy the Gillette Venus & Olay Sugarberry razor* either online or in-store at Superdrug by Tue 11 Mar (subject to availability). Keep your receipt.
  • Go to Venus pamper treats and choose your nearest salon. It'll show all the treatments available and you'll then need to register your details.
  • Print your unique voucher and call to book, quoting "Venus beauty treatment" (if you don't quote this, the salon may charge you full price).

You'll need to bring the voucher and original receipt to your appointment, which must be taken by Fri 1 Aug. It's best to book at least two weeks in advance - don't leave it to the last minute as appointments may be all gone.

WARNING: With previous incarnations of similar deals, we've had reports of independent salons refusing these types of voucher. If this happens to you, please report back in the MSE forum.

MSE Paloma says:

While the Gillette Venus and Olay razors are aimed at women, there's nothing in the T&Cs which states men can't go - just check the salon offers treatments for men too.

More info

You need to be 18+ for this offer. Procter and Gamble has confirmed all salons have been briefed on the offer so should accept the voucher for a treatment.

If you've taken up the offer previously (last year), you can still take part this time round. There's no limit to how many 'free' treatments you can get, just as long as you have a receipt and voucher for each visit. Bookings are subject to availability. See the full T&Cs.

Proctor and Gamble has also confirmed you can still get a 'free' treatment when buying the razor at half price.

Section 75

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.

And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.

If a link has a * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment or benefit to the site.

You shouldn't notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link. For more details, read How This Site Is Financed.

For the sake of transparency, so you can check there's no difference, here are duplicate versions of the * links that don't help MoneySavingExpert.com: Currently no affil links.
