The MSE European Referendum

Poll started 11 March 2008

The MSE European Referendum: what'd be your vote on the Lisbon Treaty?

Last week in parliament there was a major spat about whether to have a referendum either on the new European Lisbon Treaty (which replaced the constitution) or even on Britain in Europe itself.

As the decision was 'no referendum', I thought it'd be fun to see what MoneySavers think.

Which is closest to your view?

A. FOR the Lisbon Treaty. If there was a referendum I'd vote for it.
 13% (520 votes)
B. AGAINST the Lisbon Treaty. If there was a referendum I'd vote against it.
 70% (2725 votes)
C. POLITICIANS SHOULD DECIDE. It's too complex, no referendum, let them decide.
 8% (312 votes)
D. DON'T KNOW. I don't have a view; it's all too much.
 9% (336 votes)

Total Votes: 3893
