If you click a link with an * to go through to a provider, we may get paid. This usually only happens if you get a product from it. This is what funds our team of journalists, and keeps us free to use. Yet there are two crucial things you need to know about this.
- This never impacts our editorial recommendations – if it's in, it's in there because we independently rate it best.
- You'll always get as good a deal (or better) than if you went direct.

All Stars Cricket FREE kids' taster sessions
150+ locations, England and Wales
ExpiredAll Stars Cricket is running free 'Have-A-Go' taster sessions for kids aged five to eight over the school holidays. More than 150 centres across England and Wales are taking part, with the aim of getting more youngsters playing cricket. All children participating will receive a free bat and ball, which they can keep. The sessions will run throughout the holidays mostly in August, with some as late as Sun 8 Sep.
To get your mini sports fan booked in, enter your hometown into the search box and choose your nearest centre. Click 'Have-A-Go', then 'Book' and go to your session cart at the top right of the page to register and confirm. Kids should wear comfortable sports clothes and trainers on the day, and it's a good idea to bring a cap in case of sunny weather.
The full All Stars Cricket programme lasts for eight sessions and costs £40, but this taster session is totally free. There's no obligation to sign up to the full set after the free session.
All Stars Cricket tells us it has 10,000 places to fill. Many of the sessions have already been booked, but new sessions are being added continually - so it's worth checking back if you're not successful straight away.
