Do you fancy being sent free packs, free coupons and swag from your favourite brands just for giving a review? It’s easy to do and I’ve received more than £100 worth of freebies in two years, using two websites called Tesco Orchard and Bzz agent. They both work in generally the same way and are owned by Tesco, with only a few differences between them.

Basically, you answer questionnaires about your shopping habits and likes/dislikes and the more you do, the more trials (known as campaigns) you’ll be invited to via email. So if you’re quick and sign up to the campaign – there is often limited availability – you’ll be sent free samples or coupons so you can review the products, from food and drink, to healthcare and beauty.

Tesco Orchard

Tesco Orchard sends you coupons to try some Tesco-branded items and leave a review of your findings. Some campaigns give you coupons to get items for free and the rest are money off coupons. You must be signed up to Tesco Clubcard to participate, but you also get points for completing campaigns.

I’ve been invited to campaigns for exotic fruit, pasta and Tesco Finest cheese. They all went down a storm because they were free – things always taste better when you haven’t paid for them. I even got £20 worth of coupons to buy things from a new store that was opening 10 miles away. Every little helps…

Bzz Agent

Bzz Agent works in the same way as Tesco Orchard, however it usually sends you the items in a box to your home address with a few extra added coupons. These coupons can be redeemed at any major supermarket.

From Bzz Agent, I have enjoyed Jacob’s Cracker Crisps, razors and a Dr. Oetker pizza which were all sent to me for free. You do not have to be signed up to Tesco Clubcard to be a Bzz Agent.

Remember, this is a trial for products, not you. It’s always best to be honest, you don’t have to leave positive reviews if you didn’t enjoy the product – it won’t harm your chances of getting invited to future campaigns.
