It’s Valentine’s Day weekend and if you haven’t come to a pre-arranged agreement, gifts may be expected. Luckily, it’s not too late to bag a bargain, including £3 roses, £10 dine-in deals and free cocktails. Better still, check out our free Valentine’s gift cheques.
12 red roses for £3 – Aldi and Lidl are selling 12 red roses for as little as £3 in the run-up to Valentine’s Day. If you can’t get to these supermarkets, Asda, Tesco, Co-op, Waitrose and Morrisons are all selling 12 red roses for £5.
Supermarkets have been known to cut prices even further on the day before too, so if you can wait, you could get an even better deal – just remember to take off the price tag! See our round-up of cheap Valentine’s roses.
Dine-in meal deals from £10 – Fancy a night in? You can get a starter, main, dessert and bottle of wine for as little as £10 in Asda and Sainsbury’s. Morrisons, Waitrose, Tesco and M&S also have their own set meals. See all Valentine’s dine-in deals.
Free £8ish cocktail, £3ish beer – If you’re heading out with your chosen one, you can get a voucher for a free cocktail from Pitcher & Piano and a separate voucher for a free schooner – 2/3 of a pint – of Budweiser Budvar at Revolution bars. If you both sign up for the vouchers, you can both get a free drink at each bar. See Free cocktail & beer.
You don’t have to spend piles of cash to show someone you care on Valentine’s Day. I hope love blossoms with these deals – especially the roses…
