French video game company Ubisoft is giving away open world racing game The Crew for free until Tue 11 Oct. The freebie’s available as part of a promotion which will see Ubisoft release a free digital PC game every month until December to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year.
You’ll need to install the correct software
The free games are only redeemable through Uplay, Ubisoft’s online store and game playing platform, so you’ll need to download it and create an account. Originally released in 2014, The Crew usually costs £24.99 and is suitable for players aged 12 and above. See what critics thought of it here.
What free game is next?
The next free game, Beyond Good & Evil ,will replace The Crew on Wed 12 Oct. Games previously featured in the promotion include Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Splinter Cell and Rayman Origins.
