Video game company Ubisoft is giving away the PC version of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon until Tue 6 Dec. The freebie’s available as part of a promotion that has seen Ubisoft release a free digital PC game every month this year to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
The free games are only redeemable through Uplay, Ubisoft’s online store and game playing platform, so you’ll need to download it and create an account. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a first-person shooter which parodies 1980s action films. Suitable for players aged 18 and above, it was well received by critics when it released in 2013. It normally costs £11.99.
What free game is next?
Assassin’s Creed 3, the last free game that will be available as part of this promotion, will replace Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon on Wed 7 Dec. Games previously featured include Beyond Good & Evil , Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Splinter Cell, Rayman Origins and The Crew.
