60p Guinness… just in time for St Patrick’s Day!

It’s St Paddy’s Day this Friday (17 Mar), and what better way to celebrate than with a Guinness… or two… or three. You get the point, though do be Drinkaware.

Right now, there’s an offer on Guinness Draught that means if you buy in bulk you can get it for 60p per can (norm £1ish). Currently, packs of 10 Guinness Draught 440ml cans at Morrisons* are £11 each, or two for £12.

So for £1 extra, you can double your Guinness and almost half the price of each can. Of course, we’re not suggesting you drink it all on Saint Patrick’s Day, but if you’re having a party or want to stock up, now’s a good time.

The offer’s available in stores and online (excluding Scotland) till Sun 19 Mar while stocks last, so go quick if you want it. However, if you don’t actually need this much Guinness, and you’re happy to pay slightly more than 60p per can, the next cheapest we’ve seen is at Asda or Sainsbury’s – where the same pack’s £8 (so 80p per can).

And although the Morrisons offer does look good, according to the supermarket price-tracking tool MySupermarket the same packs were previously on offer at £9 each. Of course, this doesn’t detract from it being a good price (and well timed for St Patrick’s Day), but I thought it was worth pointing out. Enjoy!
