There are several things in life I go out of my way to get: coupons, free food and free Krispy Kreme doughnuts. And if you’re in the right place at the right time and get lucky, you could walk away with all three.
Basically, Krispy Kreme is going on a tour of train stations and shopping centres nationwide giving people the chance to play its free Krispy Kreme slot machine. There are 750 prizes available at each location ranging from Hershey’s chocolate bars, T-shirts, mugs and of course… doughnuts – one person will win a year’s supply, with 100s of others bagging free boxes of 12 or individual doughnuts.
Not everyone is guaranteed to win a prize, but you can re-join the line and try your luck again if you don’t win the first time. Krispy Kreme is doing this as a stunt to promote its new Hershey’s range of doughnuts, but it doesn’t cost anything to have a spin of the wheel, so if you’re in the area or plan to be at one of these locations on these dates, it’s one to look out – but not worth a special trip.
Here’s a breakdown of the times and locations where you’ll find the Krispy Kreme slot machine:
- Intu Chapelfield, Norwich: Wed 26 April 10am-6pm
- The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol: Wed 3 May 10am-6pm
- Birmingham New Street Station: Wed 10 May 7am-8pm
- Manchester Arndale: Wed 24 May 10am-6pm
- Leeds Station: Wed 31 May 7am-8pm
- Intu Metrocentre, Gateshead: Wed 7 Jun 10am-6pm
- Intu Braehead: Tue 13 Jun 10am-6pm
- Edinburgh Waverley Station: Thu 15 Jun 7am-8pm
- Bluewater Shopping Centre: Wed 21 Jun 10am-6pm
