Pizza Hut EVENING buffet is here! But will it save you dough?
Pizza Hut’s lunchtime buffet is popular with pizza fans, but did you know that in selected locations, there’s now a boosted version in the evening?
For £12.99, from 6pm-9pm on Wednesdays only, you can eat all the pizza, chips and salad you can manage, plus your choice of either a starter or dessert. It’s currently valid at 27 restaurants predominantly around north west.
How does the Pizza Hut evening buffet work?
If you visit a participating restaurant between the times above, there’ll be a buffet priced at £12.99 for adults and £7.99 for under-12s.
You’ll find a mix of different pizzas on the buffet counter – with a wider selection than at lunchtime – and if your favourite isn’t there, or you fancy something extra like a stuffed crust, which you can’t see on the buffet, you can order it and it will be put out on the counter for all as soon as a space is available (just keep an eye out).
In addition, choose either a starter or dessert plus unlimited salad.
What’s on the menu?
Pizza: Margarita, Pepperoni, Veggie, Veggie Hot, Hawaiian, Supreme, Philly Cheese, Texas Melt Down, New Orleans Chicken Sizzler
Starters: Garlic Bread, Breaded Chicken Bites, Jalapeno Poppers, Chicken Wings
Desserts: Ice Cream Factory, Cookie Dough, Waffle, Chocolate Chunk Cheesecake
So what’s the catch?
Currently, this offer is only being trialled in selected Pizza Hut restaurants around the country, so unfortunately, it’s not available everywhere (at least not yet). Remember, it’s also only valid on Wednesdays between 6pm and 9pm.
Restaurants included are as follows (we’ll be able to update this list if/when more are added): Crawley Leisure Park, Strand, Stevenage Leisure, Inverness, Beckton Triangle, Thanet, Dudley Castlegate, Reading Oracle, Poole Tower Park, Plymouth Barbican, Chatham, Manchester Corporation Street, Liverpool Paradise St, Manchester Fountain St, Trafford Retail Park, Trafford Centre, Warrington, Ashton Under Lyne, Manchester Fort, Aintree, Oldham, Stockport Garfield St, Manchester Kingsway, Rochdale, Altrincham, St Helens and Speke.
Is it MoneySaving?
Well, the MSE Deals team leaves no stone unturned when it comes to saving money (especially where pizza is involved), so we went along to our local Pizza Hut to check out its evening buffet offer. Watch the video below to see how we got on…
We ate enough to save about £15 between the four of us, but of course, the more you can eat the better value it becomes.
Whichever way you look at it, £12.99 for a good feed with several courses is pretty decent. A normal full pizza is about £10-£12, starters £3-£5 and desserts £4-£5, so with the buffet deal it’s easy to see how you could save a bit of cash. Though do remember, whenever you’re planning to eat out, check for restaurant vouchers first as you may save even more money by heading to one of the other major chains.
