Blag FREE access to Heathrow's first-class lounge... if your name's Harry or Meghan
This Saturday (19 May), if you share a first name with Prince Harry or Meghan Markle (or you're travelling with someone who does), you'll be treated like royalty when you fly from Heathrow Terminal 5 with British Airways.
On the day of the royal wedding, any passengers called Harry or Meghan (or Megan) will be fast-tracked through security and shown straight to the first-class lounge at no additional expense.
And even if you don’t have one these names, you can still gain free access if you happen to be travelling with a Harry or a Meghan (if not, see our guide on Free and Cheap Airport Lounge Access for everyone).
When you arrive at the airport, all you’ll need to do is head to the first-class check in area called ‘First Wing’. Once you’ve shown your passport, you’ll be directed through to the private security for first-class passengers and arrive in the lounge.
This particular lounge, known as The Galleries, is normally only available to VIPs or passengers travelling in first class – so it’s a rare chance to sample its exclusive luxury. There’s free champagne, a free buffet, waiters serving food to your table and lots of other perks to keep you entertained before your flight.
This is valid on any flight from Heathrow Terminal 5 on Saturday, even if you’re booking last minute, and it also includes domestic flights to other UK airports (eg, Manchester, Newcastle or Belfast).
