How your kids can bag FREE Lego, My Little Pony & Ben 10 goodies this weekend
If you're looking for a cheap treat for the kids, then this weekend you could take 'em down to your local Smyths Toys store and bag free goodies worth about £6.
This Saturday 26 May, Smyths Toys will be giving away a FREE goodie bag to every child – containing Lego, a My Little Pony fun bag, and some Ben 10 cards. While these goodies are free, there's also a £6 off voucher if you're spending money in store (details below).
To get the goodie bag, pop along to a store (find your nearest*) between 9am and 2pm on Saturday. Smyths told us there are about 200 bags per store and they’re likely to run out quickly, so think of it as a bonus rather than a certainty, and get there early if you can.
All stores around the country are participating and you don’t have to buy anything, you can just walk out with your freebie. Aside from the goodie bag giveaway, there will be DJs, free face painting and competitions available, but events may vary per store.
£6 off voucher
While the Lego and My Little Pony toys are totally free of charge, and only while stock lasts, there’s also a £6 off voucher* you can print now, which is valid at any Smyths store until Mon 28 May when you spend £15 or more. It’s not valid online, but could certainly be handy if you’re visiting Smyths to get your freebie and end up buying something (see full voucher info).
You can claim one goodie bag per child, so if you have multiple children, they can all get one. Smyths didn’t tell us the age range for what it considers to be a ‘child’ (except they need to be over the age of 3), so it’s at the store’s discretion who they’ll hand bags out to. I’m pretty sure my ‘Coupon Kid’ credentials won’t sway them, though!
As for the voucher, it's valid on most items but does exclude a few things such as consoles and video games.
For more information and to find your local store, see the Smyths Toys* in-store events page.
