How to grab a FREE Greggs sausage roll if you’re in London this Friday
We all love a good Friday freebie, and this week, hungry Londoners can get their hands on a free Greggs sausage roll - including the elusive vegan kind that's caused quite a stir - but they may run out quickly, and if so, you've gotta roll with it.
If you're in London this Friday (1 Mar), near any of the 14 participating Greggs locations listed below, you're in luck - you might be able to pick up a free sausage roll (or its recently launched vegan equivalent). Just turn up the branch from 2.30pm - the sooner the better, as it’s likely to be popular and there are only 6,000 freebies in total, about 300 meaty and 60 vegan per store.
The giveaway’s to mark food delivery service Deliveroo’s sixth birthday, apparently, so when you arrive, look out for someone in a Deliveroo uniform dishing out the free savoury treats. Also, if it's your birthday soon, check out our Birthday Freebies page to nab more food and drink – including doughnuts and prosecco - for free.
London Greggs locations participating in this offer:
- Holborn
- The Strand
- Cheapside
- Southampton Row
- Ludgate Hill
- Paddington
- Chancery Lane
- East Cheapside
- Whitechapel
- Victoria Coach Station
- Earls Court
- Elephant & Castle
- Clapham High Street
- Shepherds Bush
If you're looking for the elusive vegan roll, you might need to get down to these stores early as there'll only be about 60 non-meat ones at each location. So, doughnut get upset if Greggs runs out - they normally cost £1 so it's not the wurst. See our Greggs page for more food and drink freebies, and don't forget your reusable cup if you're planning to buy a drink to wash this down, as you'll get 20p off.
Of course, if you're passing one of these stores and don't fancy eating a sausage roll, you can always grab this freebie for someone else who may need it more.
