In London this Friday? Get a FREE £30 Sloggi bra when you exchange an old one - EXPIRED

You’d better bra-lieve it, we’ve found a way for Londoners to exchange their old, worn-out bra for a bra-nd new one.

Underwear brand Sloggi (owned by Triumph) will be giving away bras from its ‘Zero Feel’ range at its Boxpark store in Shoreditch, East London this Friday, when you exchange a ‘bad bra’ in its bra amnesty. They’re seamless and wire-free, and normally about £30 in shops - so well worth it if you’ll be near the store.

You’ll find it at Unit 33, Boxpark, 2-10 Bethnal Green Road, London E1 6GY on Friday 3rd May only from 11am until 7pm. You don’t need to buy anything, and the swap is free (bra-vo!)

I’ve asked Sloggi how many bras will be available, and whether it will be recycling the old bras, but it’s yet to get back to me. I’ll let you know here when I know more, but I’m pretty sure it’s legit and not… a booby trap.

Can I bring any bra?

If you’ve got an old bra that’s no good – say, one that no longer fits, or a bra with the underwire poking out that you just can’t fix – this could be a good way to dispose of it and gain a free replacement in the process. You’ll not be allowed to swap anything other than a bra, but if you’ve other old clothes to offload you can get £5 off a £25 spend at H&M when you donate a carrier bag of old clothes in any state to an H&M store. See our full info on H&M clothes recycling for details.

However, if you’ve a bra you’ve hardly worn, or that still has brand new tags from an expensive brand – say, Triumph – then you might be better off selling it on eBay (see our eBay sellers’ tips) and trade in an older, cheaper bra instead.
