Get £20+ off shopping at Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose & more with these online codes

If you don’t mind where you shop, by switching each week with ‘new customer’ codes (only valid when it’s your first time shopping online with that particular supermarket), you can save lot of dosh on your groceries this month. Unless you’ve already shopped at them all previously, there should be at least one code everyone can use.

Yet if you’ve never shopped online before… here’s the trick. Over the next few weeks, while these codes are valid, when you need to stock up on food simply choose a different supermarket from the list, sign up and use the code to get money off. If you managed to use them all, in theory you could save just under £100. Though of course, unless you do very regular shops, some are going to expire before you need them.

So without further ado, let’s get into the codes (starting with the ones that expire soonest):

Morrisons £5 off £40 spend* – Code: VOU5613469 (full T&Cs*)

Codes for Morrisons are rare, so this would be a great place to start. The only real problem here is you’ll need to have placed your order by Sun 11 Aug.

Waitrose £30 off £100 spend (plus £20 off 2nd and 3rd shops)*  - Code: AQ3AO193 (full T&Cs*)

If you sign up to Waitrose, you can get £30 off your first shop and £20 off your second and third shops with three separate codes (first code above). This would be handy if you do lots of big shops, or wanted to stock up on non-perishables. All codes must be used by Sat 12 Oct.

Sainsbury’s £18 off £60 spend* – Code: SCSSEO52LUJ (full T&Cs*)

Sainsbury’s codes are always knocking around, so this isn’t rare but it’s still a strong discount. Valid for orders and deliveries before Thu 22 Aug.

Ocado 30% off £60 and free deliveries for a year – Code: VOU4323701 (full T&Cs)

There’s a £60 minimum spend, so a £18 discount after the code. Expires on Wed 21 Aug.

Iceland £5 off £40 spend* – Code: ICELAND5 (full T&Cs*)

Not everyone would think of Iceland for online grocery shopping, so this may be news to some people, but there is a £5 off code available for your first time.

So hopefully there’s something here for everyone, even if you’re an online shopping regular. If you’re able to ‘code hop’ for a few weeks on the bounce, there’s a good amount to be saved without moving off your sofa.
