Recycle old pans and get 30% off new ones - EXPIRED
At 300 larger Sainsbury's stores
Most of us want to recycle as much as we can, but there are some items that are just confusing. Old frying pans can’t be recycled, or can they? You might not be able to put them in your recycle bin at home, but at the moment you can take ‘em into Sainsbury’s stores and be rewarded with money off new pans.
Until Tue 15 Oct, visit one of 300 larger Sainsbury's stores taking part in the scheme (full list below), and you can hand over any old pots and pans to be recycled by pan maker Tefal. They don’t have to be Tefal pans – any brand or size of pan is welcome – and you don't have to buy anything in order to recycle your old pan.
Even if you can’t see your local store in the list, if you regularly visit a larger Sainsbury’s anyway, it's worth a look when you're there - but don't make a special trip.
How do I get money off new pans?
The reason Sainsbury’s is doing this is to help Tefal promote its new 'So Recycled' range including pans made from 100% recycled aluminium. The pans normally cost from £25 for a 22cm frying pan, but there’s 30% off everything I’ve listed below in Sainsbury’s stores until Tue 15 Oct.
You don't need a coupon, and you don't need to recycle a pan in order to get 30% off Tefal's new pans as the discount will come off automatically at the till.
