Expired

Enter 300+ Scottish properties for free on selected Sep dates (mainly weekends) as part of Scottish Civic Trust's Doors Open Days annual architectural festival.

The venues included usually charge an admission fee or are closed to the public, so it’s a great opportunity to have a peep inside them. There are also some venues that are free anyway, but are putting on special free events.

Use this Doors Open Days link to find the venues and entry details - each property will have selected dates and times it's free, and some may require booking.

There were originally 1000+ venue's participating, but in some areas the free entry dates at venues have expired. Here's a list of the dates for each region

Here are some examples:

Three places that usually charge

Pollok House, Glasgow (usually £6.50)

Glencoe Folk Museum, Glencoe (usually £3)

Cairn O' Mohr Winery, Errol (usually £5)

Three places usually closed to the public
