Encore Tickets is offering up to 65% off selected theatre tickets this Black Friday, which it claims to be its biggest ever discount. The discounts mostly range between 15% and 50% off, and there are also free seat upgrades and zero booking fee deals to be had. In some cases you'll be able to book for performances as far ahead as May 2020, but the availability varies by show.
Most offers expire on Mon 2 Dec.

There are lots of other shows reduced too, but not all will be the cheapest around. Make sure to price match with sites like From The Box Office, ATG, TodayTix, Ticketmaster and London Theatre Direct to make sure you're getting the best price. Be aware that Encore works with partners such as SeatPlan, ShowFilmFirst and Lastminute so you'll often find these sites offer the same ticket prices, but the guaranteed lowest offers will be available directly through Encore Tickets.It's worth looking at Encore Tickets' Under £20 West End tickets page if you're looking for something affordable but haven't got your heart set on a particular show. You should still be comparing prices in this case too.
Important: Don't allow yourself to get caught up in the Black Friday hype, and only ever buy what you need and can afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you’ve found the best deal – don't just take a retailer's word for it.

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.
And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100.
