Clydesdale & Yorkshire Bank to rebrand as Virgin Money by the end of 2021
Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, as well as app-based bank B, will all be rebranded as Virgin Money by the end of 2021.
Yorkshire Bank will begin rebranding in late 2019 and Clydesdale Bank will begin in the second half of 2020. Both banks' rebranding will be finished by the end of 2021.
The rebrand of B to Virgin Money and the launch of the first Virgin Money personal current account will take place later this year. The B rebrand will be completed in 2020.
CYBG, the owner of Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, agreed to buy Virgin Money for £1.7 billion last year, and said at the time that a rebranding would take place.

I'm a B, Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank customer – what should I do?
If you're a customer, you don't need to do anything. CYBG has stressed that nothing will change in the immediate future, and you can continue to use your accounts and products in exactly the same way as you do now.
It says that any changes in the future will be communicated directly to customers, well in advance of them taking place.
CYBG chief executive David Duffy said: "The decision to retire brand names with such long and proud histories is not an easy one.
"Marrying the values and expertise of these heritage brands with the Virgin Money brand will allow us to realise efficiencies and grow our business throughout the UK."
