Pawnbroking company Cash Converters has warned customers about a data breach on its old website.
The firm's old online shop ceased to be used on 22 September this year and it's people who had one of its Webshop accounts on cashconverters.co.uk before this date, that are at risk.
Cash Converters said that customers' usernames, passwords and delivery addresses have potentially been accessed by a third party, but confirmed that no credit card information was compromised as part of the breach.
It is contacting customers of the old Webshop site with details to help protect them from being impacted by the security breach.
As well as pawnbroking, the company allows customers to purchase small financial loans.
What should I do?
If you used the site cashconverters.co.uk, and had one of its Webshop accounts before 22 September this year, you should:
- Change your password, and change it on other sites where you have used the same one
