Poll started 17 August 2010:

Should we stop the clocks going back?

The PM's said the govt will consider keeping the clocks at British Summer Time all year round. This'd mean darker winter mornings but more daylight in the evenings. As there's often talk about the impact on Scotland we've split the voting out.

Which of these is closest to your view?

A. Don't put the clocks back. Id rather an extra hour in the afternoon. 17,293 votes (66 %)
B. Put the clocks back. I prefer morning light. 4,234 votes (16 %)
C. I don't care2,265 votes (9 %)
D. I LIVE IN SCOTLAND - Don't put them back. I'd rather an extra hour in the afternoon.1,241 votes (5 %)
E. I LIVE IN SCOTLAND - Put them back. I prefer morning light.963 votes (4 %)
F. I LIVE IN SCOTLAND I don't care332 votes (1 %)

                   26,328 votes received.

We try to use technology to limit voting to one per person. Occasionally, this may erroneously block a few people's votes (eg, from shared offices). Apologies for that.
