You can buy it online and in-store from Wed 13 Nov until Tue 3 Dec in-store or 17 Dec online. This set was previously on offer from Wed 9 Oct until Tue 22 Oct.

Just as we predicted, Boots cut the price of not one, not two but three Ted Baker gift sets on Wed 13 Nov lasting as part of its 'Star Gifts' promotion. You can get the Ted Baker Beauty Drawstring Drawer for £23.50 (was £48), the Ted Baker Bath & Body Collection for £25.50 (normally £52) or the Ted Baker Complete Collection gift set for £24.50 (normally £50).

We haven't seen Hometree directly promote Black Friday offers, but in 2023, it offered customers who were new to Hometree a voucher for one complimentary night away for two adults when purchasing a new cover plan. This offer ran between Mon 4 Dec to Thu 14 Dec. Based on this, we predict it could offer this again from Mon 2 Dec. Of course, you shouldn't choose boiler cover just for a perk such as this – see our Best boiler cover guide to see what's right for you.

From 2019 to 2021, we saw a voucher in newspapers for £10 off a £40 spend at Lidl. However, both last year and 2022 we didn't spot this deal. In 2021, it was available for free in the Metro on Thu 9 Dec and Fri 10 Dec, and in the i and Daily Mail from Thu 9 Dec to Sat 12 Dec. In 2020 it was in The Sun. Given we haven't seen this deal for two years now, we're unsure if it will return, but it's worth checking these newspapers during the first week of December.

In the past, Asos had an up to 50% off 'January sale' on the Friday before Christmas, however since 2020 it changed things slightly and started on the Monday. In recent years, the sale begins at 'up to 70% off', then boosts a week later to 80% off. We expect to see the same this year, starting on Mon 16 Dec. See our Asos deals page for updates.

For the last few years, we've seen Virgin Atlantic launch its 'Winter sale' a week or so before Christmas. In 2023 it launched on Mon 18 Dec, so we expect to see it return on Mon 16 Dec this year. Last year we spotted Heathrow to New York return flights from £394 and Manchester to Barbados from £491. As ever, if you're flexible with dates, you're more likely to find a cheaper deal.

Predicted start date: Tue 17 Dec

The start date of this sale has changed over the years. From 2019 to 2021, British Airways launched its sale about a week before Christmas. In 2022, it came on Fri 23 Dec, and last year on Tue 19 Dec, lasting until Sat 30 Jan. We spotted return flights from London to New York for £374 return and London to Los Angeles for £413 return. The flights and holidays available vary depending on dates. We predict a similar sale to start on Tue 17 Dec this year.

Easyjet used to launch its seat sale around a week before Christmas, but since 2019 it's started two to four days before. In 2022, the sale arrived on Fri 23 Dec, however the offer was slightly weaker at 20% off 700,000 seats (rather than the usual 25% off). Last year, the sale started on Thu 21 Dec with 20% off 1,250,000 seats, including Manchester to Belfast from £13.49 one-way and Birmingham to Lisbon from £16.99 one-way. We reckon these seat prices will go flying, so check back on Thu 19 Dec when we predict this'll start.

In past years, Boots launched its 'up to 50% off' sale online on Christmas Eve and in stores on Boxing Day. From 2021 to 2023, the sale started slightly earlier online on 23 Dec (in-store from Boxing Day), so we expect to see the same this year on Mon 23 Dec. See our Boots page for updates.

John Lewis usually starts its 'January sale' online on Christmas Eve, having done this consistently since 2015. Since 2022, the in-store sale has started on 27 Dec, rather than Boxing Day. Last year, the sale started at 'up to 50% off' and it usually boosts to 'up to 60% off' during early Jan. See John Lewis deals for updates.

M&S usually starts its 'up to 50% off' sale online on Christmas Eve. It used to launch the sale in stores on Boxing Day, but since 2022, the in-store sale has started on 27 Dec. We expect the same again this year with it starting on Tue 24 Dec online, followed in-store three days later.

For the last few years, Argos has started its sale online on either Christmas Day or Christmas Eve, and in stores on Boxing Day. It's usually billed as 'up to 50% off' on items across home, furniture, appliances, jewellery and more. We expect it see it return on Tue 24 Dec.

For the last five years, The Body Shop has kicked off its 'up to 50% off' sale on or around Christmas Eve (mostly on the day itself), so this year we're predicting a start date of Tue 24 Dec. As it does every year, we expect the Next 'Boxing Day' sale to start online on Christmas Eve. The sale used to begin in stores on Boxing Day but for the last couple of years stores were closed, and the sale began on 27 Dec. The discount is at least 50% off. We've not seen the discount boost in previous years, so we wouldn't expect it to this year. If there's something you're after, it might be worth buying before stock sells out. For the last seven years, Matalan has launched its 'up to 50% off' Boxing Day sale on Christmas Eve online and on Boxing Day in stores. It's likely to boost to up to 70% off in January. We expect to see the same as last year and for this to start on Christmas Eve. See our Matalan page for updates.

Previously, Kurt Geiger's 'up to 50% off' sale started in mid-December, giving you time to get last minute gifts in the sale before Christmas. However, in 2022 and 2023, it came on Boxing Day, so we predict the same again this year on Thu 26 Dec. In past years, we've seen the sale boost in the first or second week of January to up to 70% off.

Let's be honest, £900 handbags certainly aren't MoneySaving. However, if you're going to buy one anyway and can afford it, you might as well get it while there's a decent discount to be had. Mulberry usually starts its 'up to 50% off sale' on Boxing Day, online and in stores. We expect to see the same again this year, so keep an eye on our Mulberry page for updates.

For the last few years, Asos has boosted its sale around 28-30 Dec. Last year, it boosted from 'up to 70% off' to 'up to 80% off' on Wed 27 Dec. If you've got your eye on something and don't want to risk it going out of stock, you may want to buy at the beginning of the sale.

In past years, Ryanair has offered 500,000 seats from £9.99, for a few days over New Years. For example, in 2021, there were 200,000 seats discounted to £12.99, then reduced further to £9.99. But since 2022, the offer has weakened to £29.99 flights to over 200 destinations. The same deal launched last year on Wed 27 Dec, for flights from 4 Jan to 15 March, with routes such as Birmingham to Verona, London to Marrakesh, and Manchester to Paris.
