Would you apply for a card you despise?

11 June 2007

Poll Started 12 June 2007: There's a best credit card on the market (head and shoulders above all others) which pays the most cashback for those who are debt free, and has the best balance transfer deal for those in debt. Yet it's branded (and a tiny amount of cash benefits) with your favourite football team's rival/The Masters of Foxhounds Association/The League Against Cruel Sports (whichever one you find most distasteful). Would you still apply for the card?

Results

A. Absolutely. It benefits me, that's what counts 2,447 votes (52 %)
B. No way. My club/beliefs are much more important than my financial benefit 2,217 votes (48 %)

                   4,664 votes received.

We try to use technology to limit voting to one per person. Occasionally, this may erroneously block a few people's votes (eg, from shared offices). Apologies for that.
