The Scenario: Janet and John have been married six years and had two children. Sadly they no longer get on and so agree to a divorce - no third parties are involved. They met the year after John sold his business for £10 million (Janet had limited assets), and have since lived together without either working. John has agreed to provide generous maintenance and costs for the children already.
