The following is the text of the Martins Money Tip E-mail sent on 1 Feb 2004

Okay I know, I know. I said no more tips before my hols, but so much stuff came up. I thought I'd send a quick one on my way to the airport. Plus I wanted to get the Party invite out asap.

You're invited to Martins MoneySavers Party & Book Signing.
I'm having a party and I'd like you to come. The site is first birthday is on 16 Feb, plus my book launches on 2 April. On the 25 March I'm celebrating – plus it's the only place I will be doing a book signing. There'll be a MoneySavers priced bar, entertainment, music, and time to chat. Updated Best Balance transfer article (cut existing credit card debts). There've been a few changes. American Express has stopped its 4.9% life of balance transfer offer (where you get the cheap rate until you've paid all your debt off), luckily its British Airways subsidiary card still does them. Broadband for a tenner a month. This was an untried tip a couple of months ago. Those who've tried it (unfortunately I haven't done full research yet myself) report good feedback. It's Pay-as-you-go broadband, based on how much you download. The minimum is £10/month, which for non-music, games or software downloaders, seems to comfortably suffice. Chat Discussion: Click here
