Eviction

The current ban in England on bailiff-enforced rental evictions, which was introduced at the start of the coronavirus pandemic, won't be extended further and will end on 31 May, the Government has announced. 

Renters in England and Wales are set to get another two months' breathing space as the Government has extended the ban on evictions put in place in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Renters in England would no longer face evictions at short notice without good reason under new plans outlined by the Government.
