There are lots of ways to earn Morrisons More points on everyday spending. We’ve tips and tricks to boost your points through personalised offers, plus how to get a free hot drink every week. Remember the golden rule – choose where to shop on price, NOT because you get points – but always get points if you're spending there anyway.

How does the Morrisons More scheme work?

If you shop at Morrisons, it’s worth having a free Morrisons More card. Scan it via the app in store, or add it to your online account, and you’ll earn five More Points on every product you buy, plus five points for every litre of fuel at Morrisons petrol stations.

Once you reach 5,000 More Points, you can convert them into a £5 voucher (called a ‘Fiver’) to spend on future shops. You can also boost your points by selecting points boosters in the app, and by shopping with over 300 More Partner retailers – see ways to boost your points.

How do I get a More Card?

It's free to sign up for a More Card via the Morrisons More app (Android / iOS) or website. Once you've registered for an account, you'll be given a digital card on the app that you can start scanning in stores straight away.

Prefer a physical card? You can get one by going to the 'Manage My Card' section of the app or website and requesting a plastic card, or by asking at your nearest Morrisons store.

How much are More points worth?

10 More points are worth 1p, however Morrisons only allows you to convert points in increments of 5,000. This gets you a £5 voucher ('Fiver') to spend online or in a store.

Morrisons More can be particularly rewarding if you buy lots of cheaper items, as a big trolley of low-cost groceries could rack up rewards faster than other loyalty schemes, such as Clubcard and Nectar, which pay out based on how much you spend. The downside is that you earn the same number of points regardless of how expensive the item is.

As each product you buy earns you five points, you'd need to purchase 200 items to earn £1 (and 1,000 items to earn a Fiver).

Perks for being a More member

As well as earning points, More members can get some extra perks just by being signed up.

  • Free hot drink in Morrisons cafés. If you're visiting a Morrisons Café after 2.30pm, you can get a totally FREE hot drink with a More Card. The deal can be claimed any day during the week until closing time, but is limited to one free drink per week. It excludes hot chocolate and mocha.

  • More Card Prices. More members also get access to 100s of discounted products both in-store and online. More Card Prices work in the same way as Nectar and Clubcard Prices – included products should be clearly labelled and the discounts will be applied when you scan your card at checkout.

Earn Morrisons More points on everyday shopping

The easiest way to build up your More points is through everyday shopping either in stores or online. As the scheme rewards you for the amount of items bought, rather than money spent, you're likely to earn a decent amount if you already do your weekly shopping at Morrisons. It's always worth comparing prices with other supermarkets though – see our Supermarket shopping tips for more ways to save.

Five points for every product bought online, in stores and via Amazon.

You'll bag five points for every product (exclusions apply) you purchase in a store, online or via Amazon. Morrisons occasionally offers bonus More Points on selected products so it's worth keeping an eye out when shopping.

To earn points in store, simply scan your More Card at the checkout and they’ll be added automatically. If you shop via Amazon, you’ll need to link your More Card to your Amazon account by entering your card number.

When shopping online with Morrisons, simply log in to your Morrisons account and your points will be added automatically.

Double points at Morrisons Daily stores

Until Sunday 8 February, Morrisons is offering double points (10 points per product) in Morrisons Daily stores. This applies to most items, but excludes things like fuel, tobacco and gift cards (see the full list).

Morrisons Daily stores are its smaller convenience stores – this offer isn't available in larger Morrisons stores. Motor Fuel Group sites are also excluded.

Five points for every litre of fuel

You can earn five points for every litre of fuel purchased at Morrisons' petrol stations (to find your nearest look for the fuel symbol on the store finder).

Always check Morrisons is the cheapest place to fill up first – see our Cheap Petrol guide for more tips.

Quick questions

You have 12 months to convert any More Points into 'Fivers' before they expire. Morrisons will also remove your points if your More Card hasn't been used online or in store for 52 weeks.

How long Fivers are valid for depends on whether you converted them on the app or if they were printed at the till. Digital Fivers that were converted on the app are valid for three months while physical vouchers last for 12 months.

Once you've converted a Fiver on the app, it will automatically apply to your next shop.

Morrisons has a handy section in the app called 'Forgot to scan your card?', where you can scan the barcode on your receipt, and any points you're entitled to will then be added to your account.

You have 14 days after your shop to do this, and you can't claim back money for missed discounted More Prices.

Boost your points with personalised offers

Similar to the Nectar and Clubcard schemes, Morrisons offers personalised discounts and promotions based on your shopping habits.

The coupons can be found in your emails, in your app, sent to your home address or printed in store. To make sure you receive them, you need to opt-in to personalised offers. You're asked to agree to this when setting up your account but you can always double check your marketing preferences in the 'Manage My Preferences' section of app or website.

The easiest way to see what offers you currently have available is to visit the 'My Offers' section of the app. You'll need to then press the 'activate' button to use any offers you find there.

Choose up to 10 'Points Boosters' a month

Alongside personalised coupons, Morrisons also offers Points Boosters, which you can find in the ‘My Offers’ section of the app or website. These are tailored to your shopping habits and are refreshed each month.

You’ll be given 20 boosters to choose from and can activate up to 10 at any one time. Some reward you for shopping a certain number of times, while others give bonus points when you spend a set amount on specific brands or categories, such as fruit or McCain products.

Morrisons says that if you hit the maximum reward on all 10 boosters, you could earn up to £20 a month in More Points – though how much you’ll actually earn depends on how you shop.

Join the Baby & Toddler club for more offers

If you've a child under five, you can join the Morrisons More Baby & Toddler club to access offers on essential items such as nappies and baby food, as well as some café promotions.

To do this, head to the 'More from Morrisons' tab within the home page of your app or online account. You'll be prompted to enter your child's name and date of birth.

After joining, the Baby & Toddler club offers will begin to appear in the 'My offers' section of the app or website.

Earn More Points with partnered retailers

You can collect More points when shopping with other retailers via More Partners – similar to a cashback site. Morrisons partners with over 300 retailers, each offering a set number of points when you spend money or buy selected products.

While it's worth checking what's on offer, our checks found you'd be better off using one of the big cashback sites, such as Topcashback and Quidco. See Top cashback sites for full help.

What is Morrisons Travel?

You can use Morrisons Travel to book hotels, flights, car hire and activities through the Morrisons website or the Morrisons More app.

If you book hotels, car hire or activities through Morrisons Travel, you’ll earn 10 Morrisons More Points per £1 spent. You'll also bag an extra 1,000 points for every flight you book. Points show as 'pending' in your More account and are added after you’ve completed your trip.

As with any comparison or booking site, it’s important to check prices elsewhere before booking. Check out our Travel guides for full tips and tricks.

How to turn More Points into vouchers

To turn your More Points into £5 vouchers, go to the Fivers tab at the bottom of the app (Android / iOS). You can choose how many points to convert. Fivers are available in £5 increments, with 5,000 More Points = £5.

You’ll be asked how you want to use your Fiver:

  • In store: the digital Fiver will appear in your app and £5 will be taken off automatically the next time you scan your More Card.

  • Online: you’ll be sent a voucher code by email, which you enter at checkout.

If you don't use the app or website and only scan a physical card, there's also an option to get your Fivers printed at the till. Ironically, the main way to change your preference is in the 'voucher settings' part of the app but Morrisons also says you can call to request this.

More points need to be converted into Fivers within 12 months, and points may be removed if your More Card isn’t used in store or online for 52 weeks.

Once converted, how long a Fiver lasts depends on how it was issued. Digital Fivers created in the app are valid for three months, while printed vouchers last for 12 months. Any in-store Fiver converted in the app will automatically apply to your next shop.

Donate your points to Marie Curie

You can also choose to donate your More points to end-of-life charity Marie Curie. Simply find the 'More Charity Partner' section on the home page of your app or online account.

You can donate in £1 (1,000 point) increments and there is no maximum donation amount. While Marie Curie is the only partnered charity at the moment, Morrisons has said that it hopes to add more in the near future. See full FAQs
