MoneySaving is about cutting bills not cutting back. It's about being a sassy consumer. We spend our lives being screwed by companies for profit. MoneySaving is about how to screw them back.
Winner BBC Radio 2 Most Useful Website 2003

Hello.  Lots around this week.  A reminder though, at the end of each E-mail – there are always links to best buys, major articles, and the various sections of the site.  On to the tips

New cheapest PAYG tariff (and it has video too): Video phone network 3 today launches its Pay As You Go tariff.  It's very competitive for mid to high users.  My rough rule of thumb is if you spend £25+ a month on PAYG it'll save you money (though the £149 handset price will take time to recoup) I'll publish a full assessment Sunday.  Meanwhile click here for the basics.

Come to the MoneySavers Party, now it's FREE! The site's first birthday and my book launch party is on 25 March in London.  I've rejigged the numbers, so now rather than charging it's completely FREE.  Please come along.  E-mail ed.obrien@intelligent-pr.com with your name & how many tickets.  For further details & info if you've already paid (you'll get a full refund) click here.

Serious Savings Special Section

The Bank of England increased interest rates a fortnight ago and savings rates have finally caught up. (by the way, if you think the titles a tongues twister try saying “unique New York.”)

Earn more than stockmarket growth in perfect safety:  OK not quite savings, but I remembered this Deal as I was writing & it ends in a month.  Lock your cash away for 6 years & you get 101% of the stockmarket's growth, and if the market drops you get all your money back.  Article: Click Here

60,000 thank yous:  This e-mail has hit another big landmark - 60,000 people are now signed up and there will be around 250,000 visits to the site this month.  For a year old site, which has never had a penny spent on advertising - frankly I'm blown away. Thank you so much for your support.  And remember the more of us there are, the more companies will understand that consumers won't take their crap anymore.  Please tell everyone you know about the site and the e-mail and let's build MoneySavers power even more.

I hope you save some money
