£1 flight availability, 110% stockmarket growth, Bestseller Nightmare, Star Wars Trilogy, Andrea's Freebies and more MoneySaving...

Welcome, the top two tips here really are crackers, go quick!

Ryanair £1 sale WITH special sneaky MoneySavers availability checker.

Ryanair currently has a £1 May madness sale, but as usual finding availability is the problem. Yet I asked MoneySaver Adam (he of the amazing Travelodge £10 availability checker software) to do the same for this and his has. It's already coming up with reams of ultra cheap deals e.g. May £20 return to Stockholm including tax. Click here

Get 110% stockmarket growth or all your money back – legally! This isn't a scam, but a new savings product from National Savings (the Government backed institution). You get the growth of the stockmarket plus 10%, but if the market drops all your original investment's returned. Frankly it's the best product of its type I've ever seen. Full pros & cons and how it work.

Bah Humbug! Ditch charity branded credit cards!

Don't worry I'm not living up to Philip Schofield's ‘tightest man in Britain' tagline, there is a MoneySaving reason, click here to find out why.

End of the cheapest life of balance transfer?

I'm concerned Capital One may end its 3.9% life of balance transfer offer (which charges debts moved from at 3.9% lasting until it's paid off). The company has launched a new ‘No Hassle Platinum' offer of a 5.9% standard rate – while it's cracking for purchases (Article), it's worse for balance transfers. My suspicions are completely unsubstantiated, but to err on the side of caution, if you want a long term balance transfer (Article) or half-price precision personal loan (Article) consider acting sooner.

Another new 5.9% cheapest loan, this one with ‘quick acceptances'.

A MoneySupermarket exclusive by Marbles it joins Cahoot, Supermarket, and Co-Op Homeowners as the ‘uninsured' loan best buy. The advantage of this one is it'll usually tell you whether you've been accepted within half an hour & for £25 will deliver the cash the next day. Full personal loans article

Bestseller Nightmare:

My ‘Money Diet' book will debut at number 13 in the non-fiction bestsellers chart this week. Yet it should be at number 3, but a clerical error means all the sales via this site have been excluded (thank you all so much for buying it). To read what's happening click here (I'll update any developments). As a note, the current cheapest online seller is at £4.19 including delivery, or there's the £3 off amazon voucher. Warning: Don't buy contact lenses this week, if possible.

I'm just finishing my full research on buying the same lenses for a lot less. The savings are huge. I'll try and publish on the site on Sunday, (& it'll be in next weeks tip), so hold off if you can.

Martin's Money Poser (an old'un but a gud'un):

Billy the Cad rides alone into Dodge City on Thursday, leaves on Friday and yet is rightly charged for three nights at the Inn. He only used one room and didn't break anything. Why? To answer click here. The last three Money Posers what are X & Y, stick or switch and where's the other pound?

That's it for this week's folks. As always, please tell people about the site and the e-mail. I wish those who celebrate a very Happy Easter.

I hope you save some Money
