Hi MoneySavers, hope you had a good break over Easter. Just a quick reminder that at the bottom of every e-mail, I include links to all best buys & major articles. Anyway, onto the tips
A MUST read for contact lenses wearers – stop the scam:
Don't worry, this isn't about stuffing glorified cling-film on your cornea – it's play the system to buy exactly the same lenses for 40% less. The key is there are only really three makes of lenses, most others are just the same in different boxes. Full NEW article.
New top 4.8% easy access savings account:
Birmingham Midshire's Telephone plus (web & phone) account pays new customers 4.8% for the first nine months. For those happy to be rate tarts it's a great deal, if not stick with ING Direct's 4.5%. on Free Sky Channels for Existing Users: If you took advantage of the loophole tip from my previous e-mails (before it was closed), you're about to do even better. It seems Sky's going to add even more movie channels for free, for six months, its aim is to entice you to sign up when it ends. No need to do that, do snaffle ‘em now though. More info.

(an easy one this week): The Money Diet Question. I've just been off to buy some books as presents. I spent exactly £200 and bought a mix of three books. "The Money Diet - Gold Collectors Edition," Martin Lewis costs £15. "Fly Fishing," J.R. Hartley costs £1. "A History of Political Thought, volume 2," Jordan costs 25p. How many of each book did I buy? Answer or read other's answers. Also here are the last four money posers Billy the Cad, what are X & Y?, stick or switch and where's the other pound?That's it for this week.
