0.5p/min calls, are you wasting £300 a year, New Egg Blue, Cheap Prescriptions, 6.05% interest, 5.9% loan all amounts and much more moneysaving….,
Hello, hopefully we've sorted the ‘some get it, some don't' bug out. Onto the tips (don't skim read the second one, it mightn't be sexy, but it's costly and an easy, pain free saving)…
New cheapest. Call landlines for 0.5p/min.
A new company 1899 charges 0.5p/min at all times, with a 3p connection charge. The prior cheapest for daytimes, 18866 at 1p/min + 1p connection (still cheapest for calls under 4mins). It's also joint cheapest for calling mobiles (10p midweek, 2p weekends). To operate it, set up an account on line, and then just dial 1899 before the number you're calling. More info & Discuss it. Also I've done a major update of the ‘cheapest home phone guide' incorporating this and other changes. Are you wasting £300 a year without knowing it?
Many people have credit card payment protection insurance without realising it. Check every credit card's statements to see if it includes ‘protection'. It's costly, possibly worthless and definitely more expensive than necessary. Read my full new Deal on it.New Egg Blue Card – quick heads up.
Next week Egg will launch its Blue card (before that all current cardholders should read Egg cardholders guaranteed 0% loophole). I've got sneaky sketchy details on the new card, but it's likely to be 0% for 6 months and 0.5% cashback. Frankly, I'm not impressed. Much better is available see Best card for purchases, best cashback card, best balance transfer card. To discuss the Blue card click here.Cheap Prescriptions, HRT, etc:

A MoneySavers Mission – help others:
We're a savvy lot, so its time to help the rest. Two million UK pensioners aren't claiming their Pensions Credit, which gives much needed extra cash. Any single person over 60 earning less than £140 or couple under £205 may be eligible. If you know someone who qualifies (I'm presuming all eligible MoneySavers have already claimed), see if they're claiming & if not help out. Read more. Discuss this. They can claim by calling the pensions Credit Claimline 0800 991234.Quick Note

And a final silly note to finish. I've put this in before, but people had so much fun last time I thought'd I'd repeat it. . While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction and there's nothing you can do about it. To discuss this click here
