Hi folks, finally good news for savers, check out the new best buy account I've detailed below. And sorry to apologise again, huge demand means the site is still very slow in the hours after the tip is e-mailed, please bear with it (or come back a day or so later).
URGENT: FIRST DECENT NEW SAVINGS ACCOUNT FOR AGES 5.5% NO STRINGS. Cahoot has launched an internet savings account paying 5.5%, guaranteed for a year, on amounts up to £50k – that's over 0.5% more than the nearest equivalent.. It is a clean account - no strings, no notice to withdraw cash, and no withdrawal limits, plus it's available to both new & existing customers. Switching savings accounts is simple, just withdraw the money and put it in the new account – the potential gain is huge. It's urgent as Cahoot has stated this'll only be available for possibly only two months. I've done a full update of my savings account article to explain all, or to save time if you know what you're doing apply here*
EASY WAY TO MAKE £200/YEAR. Best cashback credit card (includes new discovery) If you don't have a credit card, or always repay your balance in full, there's cash to be made. Cashback credit cards pay you when you spend, use them correctly and you're never charged. And for MoneySaving Maniacs muttering ‘I know all that', this is a completely revamped article and includes a discovery of a new top player – perfect for holders of Circle Rebate, Halifax and Egg who have seen their cashback plummet.

Unfortunately impressing a prospective isn't always easy if you're budgeting, so following the success of the Great ‘How to get a flight upgrade' Hunt, I thought it time to tap MoneySavers collective knowledge and creativity to help all those looking for love. Read others' cheap date ideas or add your own.
LITTLE TV & RADIO FOR £10: Nothing clever hear, just a good Chat Forum bargain spot - a five inch portable telly with radio for £10 plus roughly £3 p&p. Though do be quick normally when I add stuff like this to the tip, they can't cope with the demand and sell out. Chat Tip

REMINDER: T-t-t-t-t-tenner off at Tesco. Sometimes some tips get a life of their own, this is one, it was so popular last time I've reincluded it. In a nutshell, it's a range of internet vouchers Tesco accepts, you can print them off (possibly again and again) and save on your shopping. Read it
