Thank you, thank you, thank you.  The 150,000^th person joined this e-mail list today. Amazing!. It was only August 1 when it was 100,000. Whopping thanks if you've forwarded or recommended this to friends. The more MoneySavers, the more consumer revenge.  Keep spreading the word.

ANOTHER RYANAIR (UNDER 50p) FLIGHT SALE.  Get away!   Rafts of flights to Venice, Milan and the Loire and elsewhere for £1 plus tax.  Use the cunning free Ryanair flight checker system to locate when these dirt cheap trips to your chosen destination are.

NEW TOP 0% CARD.  HSBC's new platinum card is 9 months 0% on balance transfers (debt moved from other cards) and on spending (0% until 1 September) making it the longest dual 0% on the market. Apply/View*. 

There are better specific cards though for Christmas spending. Sainsbury offers 12 month 0% on purchases and gives cashback Apply / View*, Best Card for Purchases article and there's a raft of competitive Balance Transfer offers.

PROTECT YOUR FAMILY & HOME FOR LESS. New Articles.  Most people with life assurance to protect your mortgage or your family's finances if you die are wasting £100s a year.  New Articles: Cheapest Mortgage and Level (to protect your family) term assurance. 

A PLEA TO THOSE WITH CHILDREN.  Don't skip the above tip.  A parent's death destroys a child's life. I know.  My mum died suddenly when I was 12.  Consider the consequences. Make a will (last chance to get one for free) to ensure they're looked after, and consider Level term assurance.   I'm passionate about this – if just one person takes action today, I'll smile.  Discuss the worst happening.

LAW CHANGE! SPENDING OVERSEAS/ON FOREIGN WEBSITES NOT PROTECTED! 

Credit (not debit) cards legally have valuable Section 75 consumer protection, meaning buy anything over £100 on it and the card company is equally liable with the retailer if things go wrong.  The High Court has sadly ruled this only applies UK bought stuff not overseas.
