URGENT BOOTS TRIPLE POINTS IN-STORE TILL SUNDAY. Top up your mobile. Boots is offering Triple Advantage points at the moment, which means everything is effectively discounted 8% off its usual price. FLIGHT SALES EVERYWHERE. Five second way to find the on-sale flights. The new FlightChecker's already had over 100,000 users in 3 days. One of its strengths is to actually find the seats at the advertised sale prices; currently Ryanair has a 99p flight sale, Flybe has £30 flights to Alicante, BMIBaby has 40% off and Mytravellite is under £20 to Faro. Why isn't Easyjet included? Because it said no one would want it. It doesn't cost it a penny to be included, so please send Easyjet a message and ask it to allow it.

HAVE A MONEYSAVING MOTHERS' DAY (6 March). In case you've forgotten I thought I'd collect last-minute suggestions of MoneySaving prezzies. Read or add yours to the Great Last-minute Mothers' Day Prezzie Hunt. As a starter why not send a fancy balloon by post? It's a great gift and all the revenue goes to a charity that buys medical equipment for sick children.

NEW TOP PAYING 6.25% CASH ISA. First Direct's paying a massive 6.25% on its Cash ISA. The rate's fixed for eight months, then plummets to 4.35%. A great deal providing you're prepared to transfer to a better rate as soon as it drops, otherwise stick with the best standard payer. Best Mini Cash ISA article.

FREE £25 LOOPHOLE UPDATE. First Direct can't close it yet. Hoorah. Thousands have legally smashed and grabbed First Direct's free £25 by opening and closing its current account. For me, in the week its parent company announced £9bn profits, that's poetry. It's now said it'll stop this type of promotion, but as the advert's terms last three months providing you quote the right code the loophole's still available. Grab the free cash.

18 MTH 0% BALANCE TRANSFER. A Capital One credit card leaflet in some mags/newspapers offers 15/18 mths 0% if you move debt although it has a fee of up to £50 to do it. However, as you must have the leaflet to apply I'm starting a hunt for it (it feels like a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket). That's it for this week. However, thought I'd tell you that m'junior web developer, Will, gave me a great little tip on how to improve some computer screens' clarity and worsen others (it can be reversed). Go to the computer's control panel, click Display, then Appearances, then effects and change the screen font from 'standard' to 'clear type'. (Discuss this and other little "make-life-easier" techie tricks.)
