Woooh hooo. Holiday!!!!! Well for me anyway. This tip is coming to you courtesy of a laptop by the pool in the sun (hence why there's no mutterings - i don't have my microphone!), so hopefully you'll forgive it being a wee bit shorter this week!

LOOPHOLE TO CALL FROM YOUR MOBILE AT 2p/MIN. New Article It's possible to override your mobile network's charges and get up to 80% cheaper calls though they won't like it. Orange contract customers benefit most, possibly cutting bills by 80%, but all mobile users can save. New Article.

FLIGHTCHECKER SALES WATCH MAJOR SALE Ryanair's currently selling a million seats priced ‘from 99p + taxes'. Now of course the ‘from' is a bit spurious and taxes are usually around £20 each way. Still this means many flights for less than £50 return. And as always the special free piece of MoneySaving technology, the
FlightChecker, means you don't have to hunt for the cheap prices, it'll tell you automatically.

GREAT FREE INFO HUNT! Property prices, Benefits Entitlements, Average salary per job & more. I put together a note on ten free info sites (not just financial but actual fact finders) then thought "there must be many more", so this hunt's to find the best, with my starter for ten to get it going.

Use better internet shopping techniques, Cut existing loan rate, Lower contact lens costs, Get the best current account, Slash home phone bills.

HEAVY PHONE USERS NEW CHEAPEST PACKAGE (BUT ONLY IF YOU'RE ON AOL). AOL's new home phones package is £7.99 a month for all UK landline calls (the cheapest unlimited package) if you sign up before the end of June. Yet only do it if you make over 400 calls a month (13 a day) otherwise call18866 still wins.

CALL18866 GLITCH! Last week call18866 had a glitch and was temporarily charging 30p/min for UK calls. It says don't worry,
all will be refunded. Yet I think it's a good prompt to remind everyone not to turn off your 'call cost announcement'. Related article. UK's Cheapest Home Phones Provider.
