Hiya folks. What a week. The papers have been fully reporting our Chat Forum shenanigans (see Beef in Gravy and Argos's 49p TV mispricing). Obviously the quickest way to find out these things first is to be on this free e-mail, please do forward it to friends and family and recommend they join the email distribution list.

FREE £15 CASH FROM AMAZON. Credit card loophole. The Amazon credit card proffers 'sign up and get a £15 online gift voucher the first time you spend', yet there's no minimum spending criteria, so buying chocolate in a supermarket triggers the £15. It's also 0% for 6 months on spending and balance transfers, so it's not the worst card for your arsenal either. View/Apply:
Amazon Card*. Full Pros and Cons in: Credit Card Freebies Article.

NEW UK'S CHEAPEST ROADSIDE RECOVERY ARTICLE. £29 for a couple all in. The UK's top deal is a very very nice price, £29 for a couple including home start and onward travel. Plus there are ways to get cover even cheaper if you have Tesco vouchers. This is a fully rewritten article with completely new research.

CHEAP FLIGHTS TO OZ (hopefully!). A great fun forum spot. Price and availability depends on the Ashes results so not everyone will get one.
Howzat?!?.

WARNING! CALL18866 NO LONGER CHEAPEST PHONE PROVIDER!
Call18866 users beware, it's just put its price up so it's now 3p to make all landline calls. This means call1899 is now the top all-rounder, as its the same price for landlines but cheaper for mobiles. Fully Updated. UK's Cheapest Home Phones Provider. And while I'm at it there's what's likely to be a short term cheaper way to call mobiles midweek.

CD-WOW VOUCHER GIVEAWAY. Cheap CDs from the budget seller

£199 ALL-IN CAR SAT NAV. Last week's Great Hunt Result. Last week's challenge was to find the

ENERGY PRICES ROCKETING UP. Switch now! A raft more companies have increased prices. It only takes 5 mins to switch and you can save £150/year. The winning comparison service is Energyhelpline* (searches the widest range and pays £10 cashback). Article. Cheapest Gas And Electricity Plus Cashback.

UPDATE! DOUBLE THE DIFFERENCE CAR INSURANCE. Savings could be massive. In last week's tip I wrote that
Nationwide* has promised double the difference back if you find its car insurance cheaper. So I suggested getting a quote from Nationwide, then using my Car Insurance Cost Cutting System and claiming the difference. In some cases the difference was so big (e.g. Nationwide £1000, m'system £600) people are scared to try it. Yet importantly Nationwide offers a 14 day cooling off period anyway (so even if it says the claim isn't like for like, you have a get out clause). More Info/Discuss.

FLIGHTCHECKER SALES WATCH Newquay, Verona, Hamburg 29p plus charges (usually £20).
