TalkTalk Tariff is a winner. New UK's Cheapest Home Phone Article. Huge Savings!
I've spent the last week analysing the new TalkTalk 'free broadband for life' offer (view/apply*), and while it's not perfect, overall it's a winner (especially if you go quick to beat the queue). For £21 a month you get line rental, free calls to UK and 28 other countries' landlines plus broadband. Also, it's now confirmed you can get cheap calls to mobiles via an override provider too (at just 2p/min). Mobile phone bill a little heavy… save £504/year in 6min 37 seconds
Over the weekend, I noticed my girlfriend's T-mobile bill in her kitchen; £25/month contract plus £50 more in extra calls and text. Hideous! If you're using much more or much less than your inclusive monthly deal you're very much on the wrong tariff! After we chatted through the options, she called T-mobile and asked for ‘a better deal or I'll leave'and was quickly switched to its competitive Flexi tariff saving £42/month in 6min 37seconds (sadly I timed it). Logistics prevent me coming to your kitchen, but my ‘
