Looking for single bottles?

Try comparing supermarkets' in-store wine deals via MySupermarket* & Wines Direct.

We hope this tool helps you cut your costs, but please drink responsibly.

We display each store's results separately, as one's standard price can be cheaper than another's '30% off'. This is a computer generated list, errors happen.

While some stores give high discounts off list prices, others give discounts via codes and vouchers instead (we've listed latest codes and vouchers below).

Supermarkets, especially Asda, can have corking in-store deals. Always compare prices elsewhere including via MySupermarket*, Wines Direct or local wine merchants.

Tesco logoTesco 25% off 6 bottles of wine & champagne*In stores and online. Includes all bottles £4.04+

4 days left

From 00.01am on Wed 25 Nov until 11.59pm on Sun 29 Nov, if you go online to Tesco Grocery* or visit a store, you'll get 25% off when you buy six or more bottles of wine or champagne. It's valid on all 75cl bottles of wine, sparkling wine, champagne and fortified wine which cost £4.04 or more. What's more, it works on bottles already on offer.

If you shop online delivery's £1-£6, depending on the time-slot you choose, or you can collect from a store for free. The 25% off discount will only appear on your receipt (so it won't show on your online basket, or at the checkout). If you spend under £40 online you'll have to pay a £4 ‘minimum basket charge’, so if you're not planning on spending that much, you might be better off getting this offer in a store.

You'll be able to mix and match the bottles. Here are some of the strongest discounts we spotted on Tue 24 Nov:

This offer isn't available in Scotland. Please be Drinkaware.

Add two cases to your basket and 25% of the total cost will automatically be deducted at the checkout.

This offer excludes wine club and spirits. Any credit vouchers used to pay for the items will be applied before the discount.

Virgin Wines logo12 bottles of wine £56 delivered (full-price £113)*MSE Blagged via Virgin Wines subscription. For newbies only

We've blagged a Virgin Wines* deal (for Virgin Wines virgins only) to get 12 bottles of wine for half the usual price, but this requires a subscription (that you can cancel). As that can be a bit of a pain, we’ve also arranged a second deal with no subscription, but with only 10 bottles.

There are 1,000 cases available. Both offers are for new customers only and only one case per household. Please be Drinkaware.

Offer 1: 12 bottles for £56 via a subscription

Newbies joining Virgin's subscription-based Discovery Club get their first case of 12 bottles of wine for £55.87 (£47.88 plus £7.99 delivery) via this special link*. It works out at £4.66 a bottle and at full-price without the club membership, a case is £112.87 with delivery.

The case contains five white wines, six red wines, and one bottle of Cava. See 'more info' below for the full list.

Warning: After the first case, you'll be automatically billed for a case EVERY THREE MONTHS at £89.99 plus £7.99 delivery (£8.17 a bottle) unless you cancel – which can be done at any time – but do wait until you’ve got your case. You'll be sent an email letting you know the date your next case will be dispatched, at which point you can either cancel your membership or skip the individual case.

To cancel, call 0843 224 1044 or email Discovery Club membership is a decent offer if you’re a regular wine quaffer and happy to be automatically billed for wine every three months.

Offer 2: 10 bottles for £58 - no subscription

Here, you're just buying it straight, with no monthly commitment. You'll get 10 bottles of wine* for £57.98 (£49.99 plus £7.99 delivery) instead of the full-price £110.89 with delivery (five reds, five whites, see 'more info' below for the full list).

This is the option to go for if you want a straightforward, one-off deal and are concerned you may forget to cancel a subscription. It works out as £5.80 a bottle instead of £4.66 a bottle above.

Section 75

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.

And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
