Topshop logoTopshop: MoneySaving tips & tricksIncl free click & collect and signing up to the newsletter

There are always ways to save money at Topshop, so even if there isn't a cracking deal out there that works for you, don't assume you can't cut your costs further.

Ways to save at Topshop include:

  • Free click & collect. Save on delivery when you order online by collecting from a Topshop store (find your nearest).
  • Keep an eye on shop layouts and you could find out when a sale's coming up. Items are generally laid out by season's look in stores, but when a sale's coming, they're arranged into categories, eg, trousers and tops - if you're about to purchase and you notice a layout change, it could be worth waiting.
  • Sign up to the newsletter. Find out about the latest offers and upcoming sales by signing up to Topshop's newsletter.
  • Try haggling. We polled 1,400 MoneySavers to find out in which shops they had most success haggling. High street fashion retailers did feature, so it’s worth a go. Find out more in our Haggle on the High Street guide.
  • Check similar retailers, eg, Asos, Miss Selfridge. If you're not committed to buying from Topshop, check for deals from other stores such as Asos, H&M, Miss Selfridge and Urban Outfitters, where you may find there's a better offer.

Section 75

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.

And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.
