Vax logoVax up to 80% off*Blagged code to access sale early. 90+ vacuums & more

2 days left

MSE Update Wed 25 Mar 11.44am: If you can't find your email receipt after ordering check that it hasn't gone into a 'junk' folder, which a few of you have reported this morning.

A few times a year Vax releases discounted vacuum cleaners, steam mops and other products with slightly damaged boxes on a special site you can’t access without a code. This time it's offering up to 80% off and we've blagged MoneySavers early access when you use the code MSE15 on the Vax sale site*. So you can hoover up the bargains before everyone else gets access on Thu 26 Mar. Delivery's £4.99.

Vax has confirmed there's plenty of stock, but as the weekly email goes out to more than 10 million people certain items may sell out quickly.

These deals have been extremely popular in the past and feedback has been very good. Many of you said you could barely see a dent in the cardboard box. Vax has assured us that any box damage will be minimal and that the items themselves are brand new and fully working. They’re not refurbished models.

MoneySaving success stories from our Twitter feed:

"Fantastic £440 saving with your Vax deal (I bought the Dual V Advance & the Air3 Complete)"

"Today I've just ordered a £400 Vax carpet cleaner for £140!"

"My Vax hoover arrived and I save over 100 quid... no more hoovering on my knees!"

It's worth noting that before the code is applied, Vax products aren't always the cheapest around, so while you'll still be saving a substantial amount, it might not always be 80%.

The sale includes:

  • Vax Air3 steerable vacuum £80 (norm £260 from Vax, next cheapest we found 170.99 at Amazon)
  • Vax VPW2 pressure washer £40 (norm £100 from Vax, next cheapest we found £118.99 at Amazon)
  • Vax S3S+ steam cleaner £30 (norm £100 from Vax, next cheapest we found £49.98 at Amazon)
  • Vax Air3 Compact upright vacuum £50 (norm £250 from Vax) SOLD OUT

Vax assures us stock levels are good for these items. Most come with either a two-year or six-year warranty. There's a maximum of two machines per customer.

If your product is faulty, you have your usual consumer rights (see our consumer rights guide), but you won’t be able to return the item on the basis the box is damaged. However, the distance selling regulations give you 14 days to return anything bought online, even if you’ve just changed your mind.

If you do encounter any problems, email customer support on Vax told us it aims to deal with all customer enquiries within 48 hours.

Section 75

Free protection for all shopping!

There's a little-known piece of legislation that turns any credit card into a financial self-defence superhero. 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act means your plastic must protect anything you buy for more than £100 for free, so if there's a problem or the company goes bust, you can still get your money back.

And although Section 75 doesn't apply to debit cards, there is something else to fall back on if you've paid using a debit card, or used a credit card for a purchase under £100. Known as Chargeback, this is part of banks' and card companies' internal rules and not a legal requirement. Read full details of Section 75 or Chargeback, plus how to claim, in our guides.

If a link has a * by it, that means it is an affiliated link and therefore it helps MoneySavingExpert stay free to use, as it is tracked to us. If you go through it, it can sometimes result in a payment to the site.

You shouldn't notice any difference and the link will never negatively impact the product. Plus the editorial line (the things we write) is NEVER impacted by these links. We aim to look at all available products. If it isn't possible to get an affiliate link for the top deal, it is still included in exactly the same way, just with a non-paying link. For more details, read How This Site Is Financed.

For the sake of transparency, so you can check there's no difference, here are duplicate versions of the * links that don't help Vax
