Tesco to repeat promo offering Clubcard holders cheaper prices

The promotion will run for just over three weeks until Wednesday 2 October.

The discounts will only be available if you have a Tesco Clubcard, so if you don't already have one but do shop at Tesco, it's worth signing up now via the Tesco website or by downloading the Clubcard app.

Last time the supermarket ran this scheme, the discounts were offered on about 200 items ranging from coffee, crisps and pet food to televisions, barbecues and F&F clothing. Our analysis showed the offers generally beat the best prices at other stores, though it's always worth doing your own comparison before you buy.

How will the promotion work?

Tesco Clubcard holders will simply need to buy items as normal and scan their Clubcard or Clubcard app at the till for the discount to be automatically applied. If you're shopping online, the discount will be added at the checkout stage and will be shown on your receipt.

When you shop in store, products with a Clubcard price will be marked with a promotion label. If you're shopping online, products with a Clubcard price will be highlighted.
