British Airways and Easyjet cancel more flights due to staff Covid-19 sickness
Tens of thousands of flights are being cancelled by airlines this summer, and with Heathrow placing a cap on the number of passengers that can depart from the airport, it's likely that more cancellations will be announced. Flybe has begun flying again under new ownership. The regional airline relaunched this month after collapsing in March 2020 at the start of the pandemic. It will now operate the majority of its flights from Birmingham and Belfast, as well as offering selected routes from London Heathrow.

A MoneySaver has been awarded about £300 after successfully arguing in the small claims court he should have been given a cash refund instead of vouchers for British Airways flights cancelled due to Covid-19. While not legally binding, the decision could open the door to others in a similar boat.
