Tesco Bank is closing its current account arm and users have until 11.59pm on Monday 15 November to start the switching process and benefit from cash bonuses of up to £130 offered by other providers. The bank will close all of its remaining current accounts on 29 November.

American bank JP Morgan Chase has this week announced the launch of a brand new current account in the UK. It offers customers 1% cashback on most spending for a year, 5% interest on savings made when you round-up purchases, and fee-free debit card use abroad. But most can only get it from November and you could earn up to £130 switching bank account NOW, so is Chase's account worth it?

Santander will cut the interest rate on its popular 123 account again in August to 0.6%, MoneySavingExpert.com can reveal. This comes on top of a rate cut in May from 1.5% to 1% and should act as a clarion call for anyone still with the 123 account to switch to better payers – and there are still a few out there.
