Pret a Manger (Pret) is increasing the price of its monthly drinks subscription by 25%. New subscribers signing up from today (3 February) will be charged £25 a month, up from £20 a month. Existing subscribers will see the same increase from their first billing date on or after 16 March.

Pret Coffee subscribers will be the first to take part in a new loyalty scheme, which is initially being rolled out on a trial basis. Customers will be able to collect stars on every transaction they make, which can later be used to obtain free food and drink.

Coffee and sandwich chain Pret a Manger has launched a new subscription service, offering up to five coffees or other drinks a day for a £20 monthly fee.
